Welcome Kit-Cat our newest Meeper!! A very nice mail carrier found two kittens underneath the deck while he was delivering mail. He alerted the owners of the house and they said that they were aware and that he could take them if he wanted. The mom kept moving them around the property which made it hard for us to get to them. Someone living on the same street took one of the kittens yesterday, as she was found alone, but has decided to adopt her and took her to the vet this morning. We have the lone kitten in our care now and will be bringing her to the vet as soon as I can make an appointment for her. She has a bloated belly that seems full of worms as well as an upper respiratory infection. We are trying desperately to get her mom. She seems like she is a very friendly stray but is in horrific shape. From the sounds of it she can hardly breathe and her one eye is so infected it may need to be removed. We are making it our mission to get the mom. The owners of the house are not willing to help us check traps so this does make it a little bit more difficult. We cannot take care of these cats alone. Please consider helping our mission!
